The workshop includes lecture, demonstrations, and hands on exercises to examine best practices and techniques for a multitude of calls including corporate convention style, musical artists, fixed tripods, and handheld operations. Additionally, this workshop will discuss the non-hardware skills needed for success including safety, timeliness, production schedules, proper attire, client interactions, and interaction with other production staff.

Tim Kinsler, IATSE Local 19

For the past 11 years, Tim Kinsler has worked as a Local 19 camera operator, video utility, and stagehand. As a union live production camera operator, Tim has specialized in shooting concert tours, live television shows, symphony, TV specials, high profile corporate and political events. In 2022 Tim toured with Carlos Santana as a handheld camera operator and LED wall tech.
