This course is an advanced study of theatrical rigging, including motorized and hemp rigging. Fly rail usage includes operation, installation of goods, and maintenance with an emphasis on safety. Flying scenery and lighting equipment is a mainstay of the entertainment industry. This course will teach the advanced aspects of operating these systems.

• In depth discussion of various theatrical rigging systems

• Discussion and hands-on installation of hemp sets in various configurations with critique

• Hands-on pin-rail exercises to simulate real world situations
