MIG Welding

This introductory course is designed for members in construction and/or SPFX who are less experienced with MIG welding and metal work. This class will address safety precautions, safe practices, and cleaning/prepping of metals, saws, cutters, grinders, and drilling.

Zachary Zablocki, IATSE Local 481

Location: Boston, MA

Zach Zablocki has been a Local 481 member for nearly 13 years. Before joining, he graduated from South Shore Vocational Technical High School with a degree in welding. He currently works in the Set Construction department, specifically in the metal shop and often as a welding foreperson. Some recent projects on which he’s worked include The Walking Dead: Dead City (S2), Madam Web, Boston Strangler, Dexter: New Blood, Don’t Look Up, The Unholy, Spenser Confidential, and The Finest Hours.
